What Cenavo is

Cenavo reads menus with AI, explains dishes and helps you order. AI can be wrong, menus can be incomplete, and kitchens change recipes.

Allergen information is never a promise. Cenavo says at most “contains”, “likely” or “possible”. With allergies and intolerances, always ask the staff. Nutrition values are estimates. Cenavo gives no medical advice.

Credits

Reading a menu fresh costs one credit. You buy credits as consumables through Apple; Apple's terms apply. Credits have no cash value outside the app.

Public ratings

Only users signed in with Apple who switch sharing on and accept these terms can rate publicly. Rate only dishes you ate yourself, honestly and from your own experience.

There is zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Not allowed: hate, insults and harassment, sexual content, threats and violence, other people's personal data (including staff names), advertising, spam and links, false statements of fact about restaurants, paid ratings or ratings of your own restaurant, and anything illegal. This also applies to display names; names that look like Cenavo or another person are not allowed.

You grant us a simple, free right to show your public ratings in Cenavo for as long as they are public.

Reporting, blocking, moderation

Every entry can be reported. After reports from two different users it is hidden until we have reviewed it. You can block authors; you then no longer see their entries.

An AI filter checks texts before they are published. We usually review reports within [set a time, e.g. 24 hours], remove content that breaks these terms, and ban authors who break them repeatedly or seriously.

Reports and questions: [email address].

Ending

You can stop using Cenavo at any time and delete your account in the app (“Me” → “Delete account”).

Liability and law

[Have liability and governing law reviewed.] We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health.
